Expect jack-rabbits that leap over skyscrapers, a mysterious disappearance that leaves the mayor baffled, and of course, the sort of whimsy that could only come from Widdershins and Outforth.

Welcome to Tales from the Story Catchers, where the boundaries of imagination stretch as far as the horizon and beyond. Today, we bring you a charming new tale spun from the whimsical world of Joules Young and Willow Wind Mouse. In the rugged, untamed wilderness of Oregon, where the old wagon trails twist like forgotten memories across wide-open plains, comes Featherfoot, a sixteen-year-old girl with eyes as blue as the summer sky. Her visit to her younger cousins on a rough settlement homestead, way out yonder, brings tales of floating villages and freckles that hold the memory of home—a visit that will be etched in their minds like the trails they walk upon. So, dear listeners, find a cosy spot, let your minds wander free, and allow this tale to wrap around you like a cherished old quilt. As we step into this world of make-believe, remember to look, listen, linger, laugh, and love.

Today, dear listeners, we tumble into the curious goings-on of Pebblewhisk Ridge, a village where the sheep do the counting and the Thursday skies have a curious habit of raining custard. Our heroine, the cheeky but somewhat scatterbrained Lottie Tweaks, finds herself in a rather… sticky situation. Enter Mr Tweaks, Lottie’s father, a man with a flair for inventing things and Mrs Tweaks, Together, they enlist the help of the Professor Cloudwhiff and a goblin who lives behind the Wiggly Woods and has opinions about biscuits.
Will Lottie ever pry her thumb from her nose? Can Mr Tweaks survive the onslaught of crows, rats, and slightly sinister cats that seem far too invested in his trousers? And will Mrs Goblin finally get her tea and shortbread in peace? Find yourself a cosy corner, hold on to your hats (lest the wind carry them off), will.
So, Look, Listen, Linger, Laugh, and Love."

With a pocket full of curiosity and a head brimming with outrageous ideas, we plunge into the enchanting Mizzlewood forest. But wait! Who is that strange creature lurking among the trees? Could it be a delightful being with a belly as round as a toffee apple and a grin so wide it could swallow the moon? This quirky character has a penchant for second breakfasts and might just be planning weekly tea parties—do bring your own biscuits!
Join us as Oliver hops into a tale bursting with hilarity, cheeky cats, and a lesson or two about the true treasures of adventure. So, snuggle into your favourite nook, unleash your imagination, and prepare to Look, Listen, Linger, Laugh, and Love!

And what’s this? A wedding day, you say? But of course! No tale worth its sugar, or indeed its chocolate, would be complete without a wedding day. And here we have all the usual suspects: spoon lickers (naturally), pan bangers (because who wouldn’t want a bit of noise?), and an excess of chocolate that will likely end in a glorious, sticky mess.
So, I suggest you settle in—properly, now. None of this half-hearted lounging. Find yourself the squishiest chair in the house, the one that threatens to swallow you whole if you’re not careful, and do make sure the kettle’s on. You’ll want tea, maybe even a biscuit or three, as Puddington-on-the-Puff awaits, with all its wobbles, wonders, and wildly improbable goings-on. Ready? Off we go then and remember to Look, Listen, Linger, Laugh, and Love!"

Tonight, we embark on a festive frolic with How the Twelve Rabbits of Festivus Saved Pudding! Yes, you heard right – pudding is at stake! Our tale unfolds in a village where cinnamon-scented air and gingerbread cobbles set the stage for the greatest Festivus conundrum ever – what happens when the Twelve Rusty Rabbits, those magical fluffy-tailed wonders, go missing? Well, it's up to Maysli Figglebottom, her brother Bilberry, and a rather pompous rabbit to save the day. Expect more snowdrifts than you can shake a carrot at, misplaced mittens, and, of course, a dash of festive magic.
So, fluff up your favourite cushion, grab a warm cup of cocoa, and let your ears perk up for this fantastical adventure. Prepare to Look, Listen, Linger, Laugh, and Love!"

“Wizards Are Not Welcome Here.” Now, you might wonder, as any sensible person would, why a charming village full of magical creatures (the sort that usually have wizards round for tea in the stories) would want absolutely nothing to do with them. The short answer? Wizards were a menace. The long answer involved an incident involving one Archibald Swizzlewand, the village geese and a hedgehog that accidentally became the mayor and subsequently declared war on clouds and wizardry. But we’ll get to that later. The villagers of Nibble-on-the-Moor—creatures with wings, claws, and at least one resident made entirely of moss—lived a blissful, wizard-free existence. That is, until one particularly drizzly Thursday, when a figure in a floppy hat and an even floppier attitude wandered into Crispin Puff’s bakery and asked for a baguette. And that, dear reader, is where our story begins. Because while everyone in the village knew that wizards weren’t welcome, apparently, not all wizards got the memo.
So , Look, Listen, Linger, Laugh, and Love.
